Our consultant delivery team

We work with an associate team of highly experience consultants globally. They have succeeded already in their careers and have now moved into consulting & training to help bring the best out of others. All our consultants are active selling today, meaning they are practitioners not theorists.

David Atkinson


David is our ‘mindset of procurement guru’. He has 28 years’ experience in senior procurement and consulting roles with a range of global organizations’

He has an MBA in Strategy and Procurement Management from the University of Birmingham where he is now a visiting lecturer. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (FCIPS) and holds the Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

David runs excellent workshops on how best to sell to procurement – after all, who could be better qualified?!

Frederik Barbieux


If you are looking for someone who can perfectly connect with technicians and influence them to change, Frederik is perfect.

In these roles, he actively developed his selling skills, prospecting and connecting during professional exhibitions and becoming a specialist in the consultative selling process.

In 2001, he became a training consultant and has been very active selling, designing and delivering programmes on an international basis. Since 2010, he set up Amenity, a French based company, delivering programmes so far in more than 10 countries in Europe, America & Africa. Frederik is totally fluent in French and English and blends systems and behaviour thinking really well.

Leslie Brodie


‘Brodie’ as she prefers to be called is our specialist coaching expert. With an MSc in the topic

Prior to working as a Leadership and Team coach, Brodie worked in operations management for 20 years as a senior leader in both the professional and retail sector, supporting individual’s and teams to deliver high performance in service of the organisation.

Brodie is an experienced coach, mentor and facilitator, dedicated to supporting individuals, teams and organisation growth and development. She started her own company in 2017.

As a teacher of mindfulness, she has an interest in supporting people to develop their resilience and build better interpersonal relationships.

Steven Brothwood


We call Steve ‘How to?’ because of his ability to find practical and pragmatic solutions to most sales problems.

After 10 years of sales and distributor management in the capital equipment sector he discovered training and coaching, joining Krauthammer International in 1998.

Since then he has gained experience in Professional Services, Legal and Healthcare in consulting, sales and sales management and today specialises in blended learning experiences that deliver the knowledge, tools and skills salespeople need to be successful, where and when they need them.

Steve has a degree in Chemical Engineering, a Diploma in Marketing from the University of Boston and an Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching from the Bristol Business School.

Jos Burton


Jos is the author of Be Useful – a self-development book that was shortlisted for the Business Book Awards 2019.

His key focus has always been to ensure complete engagement with participants and their organisations for improved effectiveness at all levels, creating environments in which talent can flourish.

Jos began his career working in industry with Scottish & Newcastle gaining valuable management experience across a wide range of disciplines. During this time, he became responsible for training and development and qualified as a Lecturer in Adult Education which provided the tools for a more structured approach to L&D.

Martin Capelle


Sales people love Martin. He is exacting, warm-hearted and funny. He has massive experience in training which he uses to great effect.

In 1995 he became a Training Consultant and spent almost 17 years selling, designing and delivering programmes on an international basis.

He has a Master of Science (Economics) from the University of Armed Forces Hamburg, Germany.

Since 2011 Martin has worked as a freelancer in the areas of Consulting, Coaching and Training. Martin has a wealth of experience in B2B sales and key account management.

Rocio de Benito


Rocío brings a real wealth of sales knowledge and expertise to her projects. When you consider her career to date, it’s no surprise why!

As Key Account manager at two Insurance brokers, she was responsible for coordinating and controlling client portfolios and developing new accounts. She became a training consultant in 2000 and has, since then, designed and delivered sales programmes in national and international companies.

She has a degree in law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and grade A in the Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge.

Rocio has intimate knowledge of selling in the quality tools sector, in distribution, paper, packaging and plastic manufacturing

Rocio’s impressive experience will ensure that your sales project receives the highest quality attention.

Francesco de Tommasi


Francesco’s energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and participants respond very well to him.

He joined Krauthammer International, a European training company in 1999, and has been a successful behavioural trainer ever since. He started his own company in 2009 in Italy and has continually worked on novel delivery methods, including Lego Serious Play and innovative visualisation methods.

His main experiences are related to the pharmaceutical sector as well as financial services, banking, insurance, real estate, IT, and manufacturing.

We are very proud to have Francesco’s talents in our delivery team.

Hakan Froden


Håkan is our sales leadership specialist. He has a deep understanding of what leaders can do to change culture in their teams.

He has more than 15 years of professional experience as a coach, lecturer and trainer in leadership and sales communication skills, as well as 15 years as a project manager and educationist.

His professional career included positions at Krauthammer International, Sales Representative at Lexicon AB and Manager & Project Manager at the National Board of Forestry.

Håkan specialises in sales, leadership communication and developing organisational and team culture.

Adolfo Garcia


It’s impossible to work with Adolfo and not feel his passion for developing people!

Adolfo’s energy and inspirational talent creates the difference in front of a group.

With a Marketing background, he has been in consultancy all his professional live. He has more than 22 years of experience in the training industry and he is a founding partner of The Coaching Lab, a training company based in Barcelona.

He trains in Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese and English in more than 15 countries all over Europe, Asia and America. He has extensive experience in Banking, Industrial and Service Sectors.

His motto is pioneering innovation in behavioural training…and he does that indeed!

Anderson HIRST


As founder and creator of our “research lead sales excellence” philosophy, it’s no surprise that Anderson is very driven

Starting out in front line technical sales in 1991, he ‘carried the bag’ for 7 years, before entering the field of sales training and consulting. Working 10 years at Krauthammer International, Anderson sold designed and delivered multiple international sales improvement projects.

In 2005 he studied an MBA at Warwick Business School and used his research into sales process to build the foundations of Selling Interactions.

Today, he is a passionate researcher of sales best practice, splitting his time between sales research and hands-on delivery.

Richard Lassiter


Richard is our marketing specialist. With excellent experience at the world’s largest telecom’s providers

Richard has more than fifteen years’ experience as a senior marketer and agency COO, with varied roles in the video games and telecommunications sectors in the UK, Europe, the US, and South America. In the video games industry, he has worked for Sony PlayStation, Sega and Eidos in a wide variety of marketing roles including branding, sponsorship, digital, and product management.

In the telecommunications sector Richard worked for Telefónica’s Global Innovation Unit, based in London and responsible for launching and marketing digital communications products throughout.

He left Telefónica to join a boutique digital marketing agency TrueUp as its COO to take charge of its growth strategy. Richard left this role to start his own coaching and leadership consultancy specialising in the tech, creative and digital sectors.

Born in the UK, Richard has lived and worked in London, Sydney, Madrid and Buenos Aires during his career, giving him a deep insight into varied cultures and the ways in which they do business.

Alexander Maystrenko


Our man in Russia… Alex is first and foremost a man who lives and breathes sales attitudes.

Alex has worked as a consultant, trainer and coach since 2003. He has managed and participated in consultancy and training projects for many companies, focusing on, sales, management and human development.

He studied Chemistry and Technology in the St-Petersburg Institute of Technology. He also studied International Trade and Economics at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), going on to develop commercial leadership skills at “Tomen Corporation”, an international Japanese Trading House as Head of the Fine Chemical department.

Alexander has much experience of personal B2B selling, not to mention doing business in Russia.

Alastair McIvor


If you want to make learning fun, then Alastair is your man. A trainer since 1991. In 1998, he joined Krauthammer International

During his career, Alastair has trained and coached more than 4.000 people globally, in Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa & Europe and in many sectors of industry.

Furthermore, he was responsible for running ‘train the trainer’ programs to all new recruits.

Alastair has extensive experience in global sales development projects, and in 2006, won a National Training Award for project work with Cisco EMEA

You can drop him into any environment, and he will adapt seamlessly!

Francisco Ortega


Francisco perfectly blends a deep understanding of business strategy and the day to day behaviours that support it.

Francisco started his selling career in 2000 as a people development consultant, selling and delivering training programmes on an international basis.

He has an MBA from ESADE Business School (Barcelona) and UBC (Vancouver).

Since 2011 he has been working for Selling Interactions in Spain, delivering business development training. He has a lot of experience in personal and telephone selling skills, gained through work with many of Spain’s major blue-chip organisations.

Totally fluent in Spanish and English, Francisco is a real asset to any international sales improvement programme.

Chris Pankhow


Chris is our friendly consultant in the USA. With very close connections to Europe, he can really help with cross-Atlantic sales programmes.

Prior to working in consulting, Chris worked ten years in international transportation. Some of his past companies include P&O NEDLLOYD, NYK LINE, HANJIN and KIDS II. He held positions ranging from Import Manager to Senior Account Executive, giving him “both sides of the desk” experience (sales and purchasing). The majority of this business experience has been dealing with executive level management and sales.

Chris has been an International Consultant since 2002 and started his own firm in 2009. He is now based in Atlanta, Georgia (where he has lived over the past 20 years). Originally from New York, he also spent six months living in Madrid, Spain.

As a true international thinker, Chris is a big asset in our team.

Janusz Slezak


Janusz brings intellectual discipline to projects and helps us all ensure we take care of the details.

He began his selling career in 1991 as a medical devices’ sales representative in the clinical laboratory market. After being successful in sales he became a Sales Director and spent 14 years selling, training sales staff and designing sales approach methodologies for different global companies of different branches.

He has attended numerous trainings and seminars as a participant and trainer. Since 2006, he has focused entirely on consultancy and training, specialising in business development;

Janusz brings a pragmatic hands-on approach to programme design and delivery. He will help you build a highly effective approach.

Irena Stankova


Our sunshine consultant! Irena’s positive attitude and smile always brings happiness to her training room.

She started her professional career in 1993, where she worked as a Project Manager, Director of Studies, Entrepreneur and Manager of EU projects.

She became a training consultant and coach in 2001 and has spent 18 years selling, designing and delivering training programmes, coaching and consulting on an international basis.

She has a master’s degree in Economics and studied marketing and management in Great Britain.

Irena’s sales training is very energising, and she is excellent at bringing the best out of people.
